We need good stress to increase performance and to reach top performance at mediation and work. Once we reach optimal performance, with the right amount of stress, we can be tipped over, by additional stress, and then our performance declines, possibly as the mediation progresses or we have little time or no support at work, conflict, aggression, competition, poor offers etc. When we have further stress/arousal, this will interfere with our ability to work optimally, innovate, be creative, plan and respond appropriately and be at our best, as top performers.
I provide the framework for how stress works to reach top performance levels and then when performance decreases to frazzle (Amygdala hijack) and the results. Practical tips for clients and lawyers at mediation (and work) to reduce stress, so top performance zone is where you are mostly, with increased mood and satisfaction..
