I have attended the Harvard Law School course “Negotiation, Leadership and How To Handle Difficult Conversations” which reinforced the need for managing the substance of any dispute and the human elements of dispute, which require essential human skills.
I am a non – court dispute resolution expert (Zoom Video Conference or In Person) where I assist lawyers and clients resolve disputes with a win/ win attitude, in a safe environment where people can perform at their best. I understand the issues affecting people who have or are dealing with trauma, high conflict, PTSD, personality disorders, grief, aggression, family violence etc so that the process is not derailed, neither are people, so parties can perform at their best under stress, to reach resolution, where possible.
I accept mediation briefs as an advanced trained mediator (NMAS) (Zoom Video Conference or In Person) in:

Advanced Trained Mediator Specialist: I meet with clients for pre-mediation to understand their interests and needs, hear their stories, and I have a conference with lawyers prior to the mediation to fully understand the issues, including human issues that need consideration and management for a successful outcome. I assist clients workshop their opening statements for mediation to ensure it builds rapport and trust to start the mediation on a positive footing, to set the right tone for further negotiations.

Personal Injury & Inquests: Barrister and Mediator: I was employed in Specialist medical practices for 15 years, prior to law, where I attended theatre and learned the intricacies of medicine, medical culture, terminology and processes. I am briefed as a Barrister in medical negligence, institutional abuse and Inquests, where I understand the intersect between law and medicine to obtain successful outcomes. I assist lawyers and clients resolve disputes as a mediator in personal injury claims.
Administrative Law (NCAT): I represent the Land and Housing Corporation in housing disputes and inquests.
